LLANFAIR

Llanfairpwllgwyngwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogoggogog...
Llanfairgwyngwypwllgwyngwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll...
Llanfairgogerwyngwypwllgwyllgogewyrndrobwyrn...
...irgendwo in Wales!"

Unweit
Darum
nun alle zusammen:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

"Just a brief note to convey very best wishes from

Not
far away from Portmeirion, a half-day trip away on
the Angelsey peninsula, is Wales' most famous village, but
with only one sole thing worth mentioning, its name. It is the world's
longest proper name for an inhabited place. Quite understandable
even the residents don't have time enough for this, so they will
use the abbreviation.
And
the meaning of it all: "Saint Mary's Church in the hollow
of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of Saint Tysilio
near the red cave."
Until the 19th century the village was known simply as "Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll. The long name was then concocted to improve its popularity.
Now let's try this together:
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
